Running the community
Amenity reservations
Setting up reservable amenities, fees, deposits and booking rules.
Creating a reservable
Anything residents book: the clubhouse, a pool pavilion, a tennis court, a guest suite. For each one you set:
- Price — the rental fee, or zero for free amenities.
- Deposit — a refundable amount held against damage and cleaning.
- Minimum and maximum duration — so one family cannot take the pavilion for a whole weekend.
- A form — attach your rental agreement or rules, and require it if you want it signed.
Payment
If a reservable collects payments, the fee and deposit are taken through your community's Stripe account when the booking is made, and the reservation invoice sits alongside your dues invoices. Refunding a deposit is done from Stripe, the same as any other refund.
Collecting payment requires Stripe to be connected. Free amenities work without it.
What residents see
Residents pick a time, agree to the terms, pay if there is a fee, and the booking appears on the community calendar. The board is out of the middle — no email chain, no paper sign-up sheet on the clubhouse door.
