Dues and payments

How residents pay

Card, bank transfer and autopay — what to tell your homeowners.

Paying an invoice

A homeowner signs in, opens Payments, and pays by credit or debit card or by US bank account (ACH). Card and bank details are entered directly into Stripe and are never stored by HOA Grove.

Bank transfers are usually cheaper for the association but take a few business days to settle, during which the invoice reads Processing. Cards are instant.

Autopay

A resident can turn on autopay from the same page and stop thinking about dues. Each period is charged automatically when the invoice is generated, and they are emailed a receipt. They can cancel it themselves at any time.

Autopay is worth pushing in a newsletter — every household on it is one you never chase.

What residents receive by email

  • A new invoice, when the period generates.
  • A receipt, when a payment succeeds.
  • An explanation, when a payment fails — with the invoice still open so they can retry.

A resident who cannot see their invoice is usually attached to the wrong property, or to none. Check their record under Members.
