Moving over is a weekend, not a project
There is no implementation fee, no onboarding call to schedule, and no minimum commitment waiting at the end of it. Most boards are running on HOA Grove before their next meeting.
What to bring
Four things. Most communities already have all of them sitting in a folder somewhere.
Your address list
Every property in the association. Send it to us in whatever shape it is in — a spreadsheet, an export from your old platform, a PDF roster — and we will load your properties for you at no charge.
Homeowner names and emails
Or don’t bring them at all: share the community invite link and residents add themselves, which tends to produce a cleaner list than the one you inherited.
Your governing documents
Covenants, bylaws, architectural guidelines, recent minutes and budgets. Upload them into categories once and residents stop asking for them.
Your dues schedule
The assessment amount, how often you collect, and the day you want invoices generated. That is the whole configuration.
Four steps, one sitting
Setup is an afternoon, not a project. Nothing here needs a call with us, and you can stop after step one and come back to the rest whenever it suits the board.
-
1
Create the community — about a minute
Name, city, done. You are signed in and the trial has started. No card, no sales call.
-
2
Load the community in — an hour, or send it to us
Add your properties, upload your governing documents, set your violation and ARC categories. Or email us your address list in whatever shape it is in and we will load the properties for you, at no charge, usually inside a day.
-
3
Invite residents — one link
Put the invite link in your next announcement, newsletter or door flyer. Residents sign in with a magic link, so there is nothing for them to set up and nothing for you to reset.
-
4
Turn on dues, when you are ready — optional
The association connects its own Stripe account so dues pay out to the HOA bank account, then invoices generate on the day you choose. This is the one step with someone else’s clock in it — Stripe verifies the association before it will release funds — so start it early if collecting online matters to you, and skip it entirely if it does not.
Leaving again, if it comes to that
You should know the door opens both ways before you walk through it. If your board ever decides to move on, your properties, members, invoices and enforcement history come back to you as spreadsheets, and your documents come back as the originals. Your community's records belong to the association, not to us — no exit fee, no notice period, nothing held hostage to make leaving expensive.
Switching questions
Can you import from our current platform?
Send us whatever export you can get out of it and we will load your properties by hand. There is no charge for this, and it is usually turned around in a day or two.
What about our payment history?
Most communities start fresh at the beginning of a payment period and keep prior years in their existing books. Upload last year’s ledger to the document library and it stays available without needing to be migrated.
Can we run both systems for a while?
Yes, and many boards do. Start with documents, announcements and the calendar, leave dues where they are, and turn on online collection when the board is comfortable.
What if the board votes it down?
Then you have spent nothing. The trial takes no card, and there is no contract to unwind. Set it up during the trial and show the board a working community instead of a demo video.
Give your board its evenings back
Set up your community in an afternoon. Thirty days, commitment free — no credit card, no onboarding call, no contract.
