Billing, plans and cancelling
What you pay, how to switch plans, and how to leave.
The two plans
- Standard — $14.99/month. Everything: dues, violations, architectural requests, reservations, work orders, documents, announcements, the calendar, the directory.
- AI Assistant — $29.99/month. All of the above plus the resident AI assistant.
Both are per community, not per home. A 40-home association and a 400-home association pay the same. There is no per-admin seat, no setup fee and no charge for support.
The trial
Thirty days, no card required. Because we never took a card, nothing charges automatically when it ends — you choose a plan and enter payment details when you are ready.
Switching plans
From Billing, in either direction, at any time. The two plans are the same subscription on a different price, so switching does not disturb any of your data.
Cancelling
At any time, from Billing, yourself. No phone call, no retention conversation and no notice period. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing renews after that.
Getting your data out
Your community's records belong to the association, not to us. Properties, members, invoices and enforcement history come back to you as spreadsheets, and documents come back as the files you uploaded. There is no exit fee and no notice period.
Ask for your export before you cancel, not after. A community's data is removed within 7 days of the account closing. That is the right way round — your records should not sit on a former vendor's servers indefinitely — but seven days is not long enough to rely on, so email support@hoagrove.com while the account is still open and we will sort it out before anything closes.
Dues are separate from your subscription
Your subscription is what the association pays HOA Grove. Dues are what homeowners pay the association, and they settle into the association's own Stripe account — we never hold them.
Nothing is deducted from your dues. Online payments do carry a fee, paid by whoever makes the payment on top of the dues amount: Stripe's processing rate plus a flat 49¢ to HOA Grove, the same on every payment regardless of size. See Setting up dues for the detail.
Changes to the price
If we change what a plan costs, you get at least 30 days' notice by email before it takes effect, so a board always has a meeting's worth of time to decide.
