Setting up your Architecture Review Process

You can find your community ARC Settings on the left side of your community admin panel.

The Architecture Requests navigation link will take you to your ARC settings page. Here, you can set your ARC committee. This will include anyone with the ARC role, as well as any admin or manager you select here.

You can also set your general ARC guidelines here. These guidelines will be presented to your community members during every request they create.

You will also create ARC Categories here. Every ARC request will be filed under a category, so creating the categories relevant to your community will help ensure success. Your request types will contain instructions for that type, along with the option to add documentation via PDF or other file types.

Submitting and Responding to Requests

Now that you have your settings in place as well as a request category, any user with a residence in the system can easily submit a request. To view this flow leave the admin dashboard by clicking 'Visit Community Site' in the top right navigation. If you have a property in the system, you can create a new request.

Once the request is created, the request owner and the ARC administrator will get an email. The ARC member can anonymously comment on, approve, or deny the request. The request owner can also respond to comments and attach more documentation as needed.

The list of architecture requests and their final status will be retained for the owner and the community admins.
